Hi Anand,I came to your website thru the post in Yourstory.in. Good points you have made. I am an NRI in Japan and was in BLR in Jan. Didn't know about you or would have stopped by for a meet.I am an entrepreneur - will unveil my latest project (iphone app) in April. I would be looking to build a IT team in India with great design and development skillset. I may need your help in identifying such teams/ individuals. Funding may also be required... will keep you posted.Regards.

I tend to agree with Vijay. I have been on the look out for a techie co-founder for 6 months now. I get good CTO materials but they dont have real world ecommerce experience.I may wind up offering myself as a cofounder to another techie, purely due to the reason that I dont find a good techie to start with me on my idea(s). Also since I am in India now, the culture of building a POC over evenings and weekends & sticking out for the next year without salary, just doesnt appeal to many techies!

@pitch-deck: Canaan has a good framework on their website (http://www.canaan.com/home/partnerships/poptech). It's a good framework and covers all the essentials. @founding team: If the innovation is on the technology front, I would say a good technical co-founder + a good product co-founder (who understands monetization). Sales can be added/hired later. If the innovation is on the business model, I would say a a good product co-founder + a business co-founder.

Great post Dany. I have been curious for a while on what does it take to get seed money and this really helps. Although I understand the part where you NEED to have someone experienced in the business side of things I'd be surprised to find that person who fits into the team like a "T". I have been trying over a year now and am still finding it difficult to identify that person who might be willing to partner from a business dev side of things.PS: we are a service company now but hope to jump into the product space very soon. Stay tuned...
